The position

Account Manager in the chartered accountancy department

Candidate profile

We are looking for:

  • as a minimum, a Bachelors in Accounting graduate from an elite business school (taxation option),
  • with a perfect command of written and spoken French,
  • who is meticulous, proactive, organised, able to take on responsibility and work on their own,
  • is solutions-orientated,
  • is particularly interested in taxation,
  • is a chartered accountant with ITAA certification (or firmly intends to obtain certification),
  • with at least five years’ proven financial services experience (in the last seven),
  • is able to handle client relations,
  • and is not afraid of technology.

A command of Dutch would be an advantage but is not essential.

Job description

The Account Manager will be the main point of contact between the firm and the clients in their assigned portfolio. In concrete terms, this will involve:

  • drawing up financial statements,
  • closing annual accounts,
  • drawing up corporation tax returns, declarations of tax on income from investments and VAT returns, etc.
  • holding meetings with the client
  • supervising, monitoring and coaching junior employees.
  • planning and organising the work of the team,
  • and more…
