Alyssa Aissa, Tax & Legal Manager, took the plunge: together with her family, she has just opened a Louise Verlaine franchise in Zaventem — a Belgian brand of made-to-measure interior design. A meeting of two worlds that feed each other.
Day in, day out, Alyssa supports SME owners through their most structuring decisions. Convinced that the best advisers are those who know the field, she chose to take the leap herself and experience entrepreneurship from the inside, as a family.
Founded in Liège in 2016, La Cuisine Louise Verlaine is first and foremost a Belgian story. Its founders, the Loannatos brothers, started from a simple idea: offering made-to-measure design differently — in a more human, more interactive and more accessible way than the big international chains. Ten years on, the network spans Belgium, France and the Netherlands, true to its original values: proximity, quality materials and a carefully crafted customer experience. It is this philosophy that convinced her to establish the franchise at the gates of Brussels, surrounded by her loved ones.
There is a difference between advising and living the experience on the other side yourself. Opening this store was, for Alyssa, an opportunity to put into practice what she observes every day at BFS, and to understand even better the reality of those she advises. A mindset BFS has always encouraged among its people.

The most striking experience is co-creation. On a large interactive table, you handle real miniature models of your future space, before viewing it in three dimensions and in real time. You leave with a concrete vision of your future interior, before a single screw is in place.
